Plastic Machining

We at PPI Manufacturing have decades of experience in standard and advanced machining of plastics. Operating under ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D standards combined with Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles, PPI is able to meet the demands of the most complex requirements.
By integrating automation into our operations, we at PPI are able to deliver a greater range of machining processes without sacrificing efficiency or quality. PPI is capable of traditional processes including milling, turning, drilling, boring, threading, countersinking, and facing, as well as more complex processes such as gear hobbing, knurling, profiling, thread milling, spline cutting, and others. We operate both manual and CNC-controlled machines that feature a three- to four-movement axis and can turn and mill Vespel, Delrin, Nylon, PTFE, Torlon, and much more. Our precision lathes can handle components 1/16- to 15-inches in diameter, while our mills can work parts up to 16-inches wide by 20-inches long by 16-inches high – all to ±0.0005-tenths tolerances.
In addition to plastics machining, PPI is able to accommodate any special processes required for a finished product. We currently accept small to large volume production runs, support short lead times, and can meet expedited circumstances. PPI can also use its experience in prototyping and research & development for new product design and manufacturing. For more information see the table below and feel free to contact us directly.
