PPI Manufacturing is a recognized industry leader in the machining of Vespel. A durable polyimide-based plastic, Vespel is a highly resilient material used in demanding applications. Our approach to Vespel machining is backed by an innovative manufacturing environment further enhanced through Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles. Through our dedication to quality and precision, we have become the largest producer of Vespel parts for the aerospace sector.

Our Vespel machining capabilities consist of several standard and specialized machining processes taking place under both ISO 9001:2015 standards and AS9100D certified quality systems. Milling, drilling, turning, boring, threading, tapping, knurling, broaching, and gear cutting are just some of the operations we can perform. Our machining capacity supports part dimensions up to 20-inches long by 16-inches wide by 16-inches high and our turning capacity can support parts 1/16- to 15-inches in diameter. Through our combination of CNC and manual machining, we are able to hold ±0.0005-tenths tolerances.
